Allergy Spotter

Verify a Confirmation Record

Restaurants using Allergy Spotter can save every guest's "yes, I checked my allergies" confirmation as a tamper-evident record. If a restaurant has switched on public verification, you can check here — no login, no account — whether their record is intact.

Tip: paste the restaurant's Allergy Spotter menu link, or just its slug from the link.

What this actually checks

Each time a guest confirms they've checked their allergies, the record saved includes a fingerprint of the record right before it — like a chain of wax seals. This tool re-checks every seal in a restaurant's chain from the very first record to the most recent. If even one old record had been quietly edited afterwards, every seal after it would break, and this check would catch it and tell you exactly where.

Worth being honest about: this proves the chain hasn't been altered since it was created without also being caught. It doesn't yet prove independence from Allergy Spotter itself — the chain and the records it protects both still live in our own database, so this is closer to "we've shown our working and it holds up" than "checked against something entirely outside our control." Anchoring the chain somewhere fully external to us is a possible future step, not something this page claims today.

This check never reveals any guest's name, allergies, or order — only whether the chain is unbroken and how many confirmations it covers.
